Goddess Sculpture

As this female bust emerged, her face gave off a regal, almost Egyptian countenance. She needed a crown or, as I fashioned, a turbanesque headpiece.

When she was fired my challenge was to bring her to life, deciding gold leaf was essential on her face with her deep red lips, then using random accents of gold leaf amid the dull black turban and neck, allowing for her face to be the main attraction.
